WAR
World Peace is something that almost seems unachievable. 7 billion people on this planet have been fighting constantly since centuries on who was the real creator of this world, but these same people do not realise that it’s just one world, and the fight over its creator has already killed millions over the years and will continue to kill millions of innocent souls over the coming years. Recently two back to back 2 attacks in New York and Denver are an evident proof and a small glimpse of what may happen in the future if the war over religion continues.
Today we present to you a poem which somewhere expresses the feelings of our kids today, and the innocent yet thoughtful question they may ask their parents today or maybe even in the future.
World is a family is what our books tell us,
But we see war all around us,
But we see war all around us,
A war where they fight in the name of God and Allah,
But God rests so peacefully, be it in church, mosque or a gurudwara,
But God rests so peacefully, be it in church, mosque or a gurudwara,
The elders waste the world resources in war,
And what they leave behind for us is graves to cry on,
And what they leave behind for us is graves to cry on,
We do not want nuclear weapons for being safe,
A happy world is our definition of being the safest,
A happy world is our definition of being the safest,
War may be temporary but the loss is irreversible,
Let's not invest in nuclear missiles instead let's invest in educating the kids of today, so they don’t become humans who fight over religion tomorrow,
Let us create a happy vicinity today, so no one has to die in the misery of war and terrorism.
